COVID POLICY

Downtown Cabaret Theatre COVID – 19 Policy

(last updated Sep 2, 2021)

While guidance for best practices to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 continues to evolve the following policies have been adopted by the Downtown Cabaret Theatre.

THEATRE for YOUNG AUDIENCES (formerly The Children’s Theatre)

  • Children under 12 years old are NOT required to show a negative COVID test.
  • Everyone must wear a mask for the entire time they are in the building.
  • All audience members 12 years old and older must present proof of being fully vaccinated OR show a negative COVID test result that is not more than 48 hours old.  Home COVID tests are not accepted.
  • BYOB and Picnic have been suspended for all TYA shows due to the fact that children under 12 years old can not be vaccinated at this time and must keep their masks up at all times while in the building.
  • We hope to restore the BYOB/Picnic policy just as soon as it safe to do so
  • A modified version of meet and greet will be implemented.
  • You must purchase the entire table. We have tables that seat 2 or 6 patrons in the orchestra section and tables that seat 2, 4, 6 or 8 patrons in the balcony.

MAIN STAGE THEATRE and MAIN STAGE CONCERTS

  • All audience members must present proof of being fully vaccinated OR show a negative COVID test result that is not more than 48 hours old.  Home COVID tests are not accepted.
  • Masks must be worn over the mouth and nose. Masks can be taken down briefly to consume food and drink but must be restored in between bites and sips. This will be strictly enforced as we want to avoid suspending the BYOB/Picnic privilege.
  • Sneeze or cough into elbow or tissue
  • Use the designated point of entry at all times. This information is on your ticket
  • If you are not feeling well stay home.  We will refund your ticket.
  • You must purchase the entire table. We have tables that seat 2 or 6 patrons in the orchestra section and tables that seat 2, 4, 6 or 8 patrons in the balcony.
