Kat is a New York based actress/ singer who is excited to make her DCT debut in The Bodyguard. Council is a proud Hampton University graduate and member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women. Her most recent theatrical credits include: Mississippi The Musical (NYMF), Memphis the Musical (Felicia Farrell), Legally Blonde (Pillar), Dreamgirls (Deena Jones) Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl) and Genius To the Beat of Soul (Anika). She would like to thank Marissa and the creative staff at DCT for this opportunity and her husband and family for all of their continued love and unconditional support.
JOHN WAYMAN

John is excited to be back on the Cabaret stage after a 6 year break following a move to NYC and starting his own dog walking business. Previous DTC credits include: Memphis (Huey), Little Shop of Horrors (Dentist), The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), and Shrek (Farquaad). He also made his directorial debut at the Cabaret: Lord of the Flies in 2015. Wishing many broken legs to the cast and crew for a successful run!
SAMANTHA BASS

Making her debut at Downtown cabaret is Samantha Rae Bass. Samantha is a native of Cookeville, TN. Her past works include “Leader Of The Pack”, “Beehive, The 60’s Musical”, “Rock and Roll Redemption”, and roles such as Shug Avery in “The Color Purple”, Effie White in “Dream Girls” as well as Felicia in “Memphis, The Musical.” Samantha is also a novice writer and has also done some commercial/film projects. Chris Hetherington is thrilled to be returning to DCT after appearing as Bill Austin in Mamma Mia! last fall. Past credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Voice of Audrey II), Legally Blonde (Professor Callahan), Camelot (King Arthur), Addams Family (Lurch), Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino) and Il Mikado (Pooba). Chris would like to thank his wife and family for their continued support. He would also like to thank the cast and creative team at DCT for another amazing experience!

Dominick was born and raised in West Haven, CT. He is honored to be back for a 2nd year to join the Downtown Cabaret Theatre and the cast of The Bodyguard the Musical. He is a graduate from West Haven High School class of 96. Mr. Benjamin was a member of high school
concert Choir, Marching Band and Drama Club. He is also the show Director for a night club in Providence, RI. He has been in such musicals as Hello Dolly, West Side Story and Show Boat. Mr. Benjamin was also in the Downtown Cabaret Theatre production of Sister Act.

Courtney is thrilled to be back at DTC after last Spring’s Sister Act with Marissa Perry. With her husband and 2 boys she’s lived all over the US. Fav. roles include Annie (Annie Get Your Gun), Woman 2 (Songs…World) and Narrator (Joseph…). Former Exec. Board Member of Professional Regional Company in CA. Her concert, Fight the Dragons, about fighting postpartum depression, premiers in March in Cheshire, CT.
KEVIN KILEY

Kevin is very excited to be on stage at the Downtown Cabaret for the first time! Kevin graduated from Manhattanville college with a B.F.A in musical theatre! He was most recently seen in Grease at curtain call theater in Stamford Ct! When Kevin is not performing in a musical he is a singer/songwriter currently in the process of recording and releasing his debut album! Check out his most recent single that just came out! MARTIN GARCIA

Marty is thrilled to be back at the DCT after recently being a part of the amazing production of Mamma Mia! Marty has performed at various theatres including Long Wharf Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, and most recently in Spotlight Stage Company's performance of FAME. Marty has appeared in numerous television shows, movies, commercials and industrial projects. He thanks his family and friends for their continued support and dedicates his performance to his mom.
MARK NEWMAN Jr.

Mark is a charismatic 10 year old from White Plains, NY. He is a 5th grader who attends George Washington Elementary School and has been in the dual language program since kindergarten. In 2015, Mark joined the Play Group Theatre in White Plains where he played the lead role in the musical “The New Kid On The Block.” Mark is currently working on another production with the Play Group Theatre set for May.
MARA SANTILLI

Mara Santilli is so excited to return to the DCT stage dancing along to Whitney’s greatest hits! Her most recent credits include Mamma Mia (Ali) at the Downtown Cabaret this past fall, as well as Spamalot, Nine, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Fordham University. She studied dance and voice at PACC (now RDC) in Trumbull. By day, she’s a freelance journalist who also loves doing yoga and playing guitar and piano. Thank you to Marissa, Gustavo, Sabrina, Sarah, Lesley, and the rest of the production team at DCT for making this another fabulous experience!
ERIC NESMITH

Eric is a recent graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, he is happy to make his third debut on the mainstage of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre. He has recently starred as Lurch in “The Addams Family” at Southern Connecticut State University and has performed with the New Haven Symphony in their rendition of “Guys and Dolls.” He is excited to be working with a wonderful cast of talented people! Love you all and let’s make this show one to remember!

SAMANTHA VAN NOSTRAND
Samantha has been passionate about music and dance her whole life, and realized her love for musical theater in high school where she performed in “Urinetown” and “Hairspray.” After a long hiatus from the theater, “The Bodyguard” is Samantha’s return to the stage after seven years. She is excited to join the Downtown Cabaret family and is grateful to everyone who played a part in putting together this amazing show.
REBECCA MARTOWSKI
Last fall, Rebecca was in Mamma Mia, and now she is delighted to return to DCT for the second time this season in The Bodyguard. Last season she joined DTC for the first time in Sister Act as Deloris VanCartierʼs US and ensemble nun, and over the summer she held the role of Ethel in the Connecticut Theatre Companyʼs production of Memphis. Rebecca would like to thank her supportive friends and family and also the DCT for another opportunity to make her dreams a reality.
ZARIYA PAIGE
Zariya is currently a sophomore in college studying Dance and Theatre. This is her first show at the Cabaret and she is so excited to be working with such a talented bunch. She hopes that this experience will unlock more opportunities for her as she furthers her career.
