MEET THE CAST

 

ASHLEY DEPASCALE

(Bella)

Ashley is back on the Cabaret stage where she has been performing since 2008 both in the Theatre for Young Audiences and Main Stage. She previously made her directorial debut in Rapunzel plus played the role of Argyle. Some of her favorite past productions include Sleeping Beauty, The Christmas Elf, Little Red Riding Hoods, Princess and the Pea, James & the Giant Peach, Princess and the Frog, The Man in Black, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat among others. Ashley holds a BFA in drama from the University of Connecticut where she appeared in several Connecticut Repertory Theatre Productions. Additionally, Ashley has performed for Hershey Entertainment as well as a number of local commercials. Special thanks to her family, Hugh, Susan, the cabaret staff and actors for their constant love and support

 

STEVE BELLI

(Beast)

TYA DEBUT! Steve is over the moon to be a part of his first TYA production here at the cabaret. He was last seen in DCT’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as Reuben, as well as The Full Monty as Gary/Tony. Past credits: Violet (Father), 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Barfee), and Much Ado About Nothing (Leonato) at SCSU; Guys and Dolls (Angie the Ox) with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra. Thank you to this amazingly talented, and hilarious cast for making this one of the most enjoyable experiences of my career! Thank you to the production team for all their hard work, and to Phill for giving me the chance to be part of such a fun and heartwarming production! Thank you to my family and friends for all their love and support!

 

ANDREA PANE

(Chester)

Andrea Pane (Chester) is ecstatic to be back in the director’s chair! He graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut, completed a directing internship at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and studied Commedia Dell’Arte with Antonio Fava in Italy. He’s been acting and directing with the DCT Theatre for Young Audiences since 2008: recent credits include The Santa Story, Sherlock Holmes and the Haunted Cabaret, Little Witches, Dracula Goes to High School, The Christmas Elf, Goldilocks, Sleeping Beauty and more. In 2019-2020 he directed and starred in MST Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat, as well as Three Pigs. Big thanks to his family, Sasha & Misha, Luan, Phill, Michael, the entire cast, and to the Hallinans for their unwavering support!

 

KAREN HANLEY

(Mona)

You’ve seen Karen on the DCT stage in Hairspray, James and the Giant Peach, Princess and the Frog, Little Witches, Joseph, and Three Pigs, among others. Although fairly new to musical theatre, she’s performed on all kinds of stages, including CBGB’s, the All-Ireland Irish Dance Championships, and had the honor of singing an original song at Jazz at Lincoln Center.  She is also in the Amazon Prime show Puzzled. CORINNE MARSHALL

(Donna/Miss Ottoman)

Corinne is back for another children’s show at the Cabaret. Some of her past credits with the CCT include, The Santa Story (Jackie Frost) Little Witches (Malice), Rumpelstiltskin (Queen Avarice), Princess and the Frog (Queen Desiree), Sleeping Beauty (Sorsha), Goldilocks (Mama Bear), Pinocchio (The Blue Fairy), Cinderella (Cinderella), James and the Giant Peach (Aunt Sponge), A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Present), and most recently Rapunzel (Esmerelda). CARLY JURMAN

(Brenda/Swiffer)

Past credits include The Santa Story (DCT), Something Rotten (Curtain Call), The Donkey Show (American Repertory Theatre), West Side Story, The Who’s Tommy, Thoroughly Modern Millie (Turtle Lane Playhouse), and South Pacific (Reagle Music Theatre). Carly recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and was nominated in 2019 for an Off-West End Award for her solo show,Unlovable. She has trained and performed internationally in theatre, dance and physical performance.

 

 

CORY MURPHY

(Linus/Loomin)

Coy Murphy (Linus/Loomin) born in Bridgeport, CT, developed a love for the theatre through dance, having been trained in contemporary hip-hop and aerial dance styles. Cory comes from the mainstage where he performed as Zudulon in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat. The thing he loves about theatre the most is having the opportunity to step into the mind and the shoes of somebody different.

 

 

 

KYLE RIEDINGER

(Chester Understudy)

Kyle is so excited to be back on the DCT Stage, but this time in the Children’s Theatre show! Kyle’s recent credits include Judas in Godspell at MRT (Musicals at Richter) Mr. Feldzeig in The Drowsy Chaperone, Eddie in Mamma Mia at the DCT. Kyle would like to welcome back the audience, it’s so good to see you again. He would like to thank his amazing boyfriend Matt and his new Puppy Chicken and Waffles, and his family and friends for all their support. Lastly, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
