Julia Lennon is delighted to be returning to DCT! Julia is an NYC based actor and singer originally hailing from Southport, CT. Recent credits include The Wolves (Lyric Stage Company of Boston), Sister Act (DCT), and Henry VIII (Valley Shakespeare Festival). Julia would like to thank her grandmother, who brought her to see Mamma Mia on Broadway as a little girl, and without whom she would not have found a love for ABBA and this show. juliawlennon.com

Bill is thrilled to be making his debut with DTC and to reprise the role of Sam Carmichael in MAMMA MIA. Chris Hetherington is excited to be making his DCT debut. Past credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Voice of Audrey II), Legally Blonde (Professor Callahan), Camelot (King Arthur), Addams Family (Lurch), Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino) and Il Mikado (Pooba). Chris would like to thank his wife and family for their unwavering support. He would also like to thank the incredibly talented cast, staff and crew of Mamma Mia! for deciding to take a chance on me.

For over two decades, Robert has performed in numerous stage productions on both the east and west coasts. Past credits include: The Glass Menagerie (Tom), Next To Normal (Gabe),  RENT (Roger),  Gypsy (Tulsa),  August: Osage County (Little Charles),  Hamlet (Laertes),  Be More Chill (The Squip),  Mitch Mahoney (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Sky in Curtain Call’s production of Mama Mia in Stamford.  Locally, he is Assistant Director for Two Planks Theater Company’s Summer Theater Workshop programs.

 

SUSAN KULP

(Tanya)

DTC debut! Recent local credits include COMPANY (Joanne – Castle Craig Players); THE IRISH AND HOW THEY GOT THAT WAY (Susan – The Warner Theatre); MAMMA MIA (Tanya – Thomaston Opera House LCT) and RASHEEDA SPEAKING (Ilene – Collective Consciousness Theater). As a Company member of New Haven Theater Company – MARJORIE PRIME (Tess), LOVE SONG (Joan) and
the upcoming RETREAT FROM MOSCOW (Alice – Nov. 2019). Susan is the Director and MD for the North Haven Schools Drama Cooperative and “acts” as a Standardized Patient for Quinnipiac and Yale medical schools.

 

ANGELA JACKSON

(Rosie)

Angela Jackson is thrilled to be performing again at DCT! Past shows have include The Full Monty, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Phantom, The Wiz, Fiddler On The Roof, and Rocky Horror Show Experience. Other recent shows have included Chess (Carriage House Arts Center), Anything Goes (Center Stage), Momma Mia (Curtain Call), and Cabaret (Lipstick Project/DAC). She says thank you for the music and hopes you’re having the time of your life!

 

CASEY WALSH

(Lisa)

Casey Walsh is thrilled to be playing Lisa in her third production at the Downtown Cabaret! Other credits include SISTER ACT (Ensemble Nun), LEGALLY BLONDE (Margot), RENT (Joanne), 13 THE MUSICAL (Kendra). Aside from performing, Casey currently works at Indeed as a Client Success Specialist. She would like to thank Frank Root for being such a fantastic director, and for “taking a chance” on her. MARA SANTILLI

(Ali)

Mara Santilli, a Trumbull, CT native, is thrilled to be in her first DCT production! Her most recent credits include Spamalot, Nine, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Fordham University, where she was also a member of the Fordham b-Sides a cappella group, and she’s been excited to get back to the stage ever since. While she’s always been a dancing queen, she’s also a freelance journalist and loves to travel outside of performing.

 

JASON PARRY

(Pepper)

Jason Parry is a local CT actor with a BA in Theatre. A regular at DCT, you might remember him as Shere Khan in Jungle Book, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, or as Ichabod Crane in Sleepy Hollow. Other notable roles include Tick in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Emcee in Cabaret (CCP), and Mozart/Flower Painter in Still Life With Iris (Long Wharf). Much thanks to Majela! “This is it!”

CARTER TREMBLEY

Carter Trembley has appeared in numerous productions across the state of Connecticut.  Favorite past credits include Twelfth Night (Feste), The Hunchback of Norte Dame (Clopin), Once on this Island (Ton Ton), Peter Pan (Mr. Smee), and Crazy for You (Eugene).  In his spare time, Carter enjoys playing the guitar and hanging out with friends and family.

 

 MARTIN GARCIA

Marty is thrilled to be making his DCT debut with one of his all-time favorite shows! Marty has performed at various theatres in CT, including Long Wharf Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, and most recently in Spotlight Stage Company’s performance of FAME. In addition to stage, Marty has appeared in numerous television shows, movies and industrial projects. Marty wishes to thank his family and friends for their support and dedicates his performance to his mother, Diana.

 

MARISA CURTI

Marisa is excited to be back at Downtown Cabaret, after performing in last season’s Legally Blonde and 1984. In addition to DCT, favorite credits include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street YP (Broadway Bootcamp), Donkey in Shrek Jr (Octagon Performance Group) and Brooke in Legally Blonde Jr (BMA). Marisa dances at Flash Pointe Dance, studies voice with J. Scott Handley and attends Fairfield Warde HS as a freshman. Thank you to Frank, the production team, the cast, and her family!

 

REBECCA MARTOWSKI

Rebecca Martowski is delighted to return to DCT for Mamma Mia! Last season she joined DTC for the first time in Sister Act as Deloris VanCartierʼs US and ensemble nun, and over the summer she held the role of Ethel in the Connecticut Theatre Companyʼs production of Memphis. Rebecca would like to thank her supportive friends and family and also the DCT for another opportunity to dance, jive and have the time of her life.

 

DANY ROUSSEAU

This is Dany’s first time at The Downtown Cabaret Theater, and she is thrilled to be a part of this incredible cast! Performing for over 20 years, she is so excited to finally be involved in this rockin’ disco dream. Dany is forever grateful to her partner and daughter for their support and is overjoyed to be working with Frank, Jennifer, Sabrina, Alec and the whole Mamma Mia cast and crew! 

 

ALAINA McCARVILL

Alaina McCarvill is excited for her debut at Downtown Cabaret! Credits include, Wanda (Crybaby The Musical), Morticia (Addams Family), Bright and Shiny (Bubble Boy the Musical) Elaine (Arsenic and Old Lace), Student (Carrie the Musical), Inga (Young Frankenstein), Teenage Fiona and Pinocchio (Shrek the Musical), and Harvard student and salon worker (Legally Blonde). Alaina is thankful for all her family and friends’ support and delighted to perform with the cast of Mamma Mia!

 

KAYLIN WELLER

Kaylin is thrilled to be back with the Downtown Cabaret for her fourth season! This is Kaylin’s eighth Main Stage show including; Spring Awakening, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Phantom, Rocky Horror Picture Show Floor Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sister Act and Decades in Concert. Kaylin sends love and thanks to her family, Joe and her friends. Thanks to the cast, crew and production staff. I Have A Dream… that this show is going to be amazing!

 

SARA WINANT

Here we go again! Sara is thrilled to be back this season at DTC. Last season she found herself playing different types of sisters in both Legally Blonde and Sister Act, and also “graced” the stage as Grace Farrell in Annie. When not on stage you can find her teaching 9th and 10th grade history right down the street at Capital Preparatory Harbor School. To the cast and crew of Mamma Mia: thank you for the music! Special thank you to her family, friends, and students for all their support!

 

JACQUIE MacLEAN

Jacqueline MacLean ( Ensemble): is thrilled to be returning to the DCT stage, after appearing as Sister Mary Lazarus in last season’s smash hit SISTER ACT! A frequent performer with several area theaters, other productions include: A Christmas Carol The Musical (Mrs.Cratchit), August:Osage County(Ivy Weston), Gypsy( Louise/ Electra/ Miss Cratchit), Fiddler on the Roof( Golde/ Tzeitel), The Full Monty (Pam  Lukowski), Jesus Christ Super Star (Mother Mary)  Little Shop of Horrors( Ronette) and The Wizard of Oz ( Aunt Em/ Glinda), to name a few. Jacquie would like to thank the entire DCT team and as always, an extra special thanks to her incredible friends and family for their continued support, especially her amazing husband David and son Christian.
