ANDREA PANE

(Director/Pharaoh)

Andrea Pane (Director/Pharaoh) is thrilled to be directing on the DCT Mainstage again! He graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Connecticut, has been a directing intern at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, studied Commedia Dell’Arte with Antonio Fava in Italy, taught drama at several schools, and produced and directed two seasons of outdoor summer Shakespeare with his company FYS. He’s been acting and directing with the DCT Children’s Company since 2008. Previous Mainstage credits include The Full Monty and Amadeus. Andrea would like to thank his family for being unendingly supportive, his dogs for their cuddles, Cassie, KJ, Gensur, Phill, Tom, Susan and Hugh Hallinan, and of course the entire cast!

 

CASSIE CARROLL

(Choreographer/Mrs. Potiphar)

Cassie feels honored for the opportunity to choreograph a show so close to DCT’s heart (and now hers, too!). Cassie has choreographed and performed in several Children’s Theatre productions and is returning to Main Stage after preforming in A Chorus Line in 2016. When not performing, Cassie is a local English teacher. She thanks Dre and the team, and wishes the cast and crew a wonderful run! Love to mom, dad, Court, and Rob!

 

DESI AMATO

(Narrator)

Desi Amato has a BFA from Wright State University in Musical Theatre. National Tours: Jesus Christ Superstar, Junie B. Jones, Skippyjon Jones. Favorite Credits include: Big River (Alice’s Daughter), Green Gables (Jane), Aida (Aida), Threepenny Opera (Polly Peachum), The Gondoliers (Fiametta), Ragtime (Sarah’s Friend), and The Shape of Things (Evelyn)Desi is thrilled to be making her DCT debut, and thanks this wonderful team for the opportunity! It has been such a pleasure.  Much love to her husband Stephen and daughter Eloise. Enjoy the show!

 

ROBERT PETERPAUL

Robert Peterpaul is thrilled to be a part of this special production. Recent theatre: Beauty & the Beast at White Plains Performing Arts Center, Spelling Bee at ACT of CT, Lettice & Lovage at Westport Country Playhouse & Spring Awakening here at DCT in addition to various Children’s Theatre shows. STEVE KAPLAN

(Jacob)

Steve is appearing for the third time at the DCT, previously having been in productions of Fiddler on the Roof and in last year’s Annie. In addition, he’s appeared at Curtain Call in Stamford as well as productions at Long Wharf Theatre and The Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven. I wish to thank the support of my wife, Margaret.

 

KAREN HANLEY

(Potiphar)

You’ve seen Karen on the DCT stage in Hairspray, James and the Giant Peach, Princess and the Frog, Little Red Riding Hoods and Little Witches, among others.  Although fairly new to musical theatre, she’s performed on all kinds of stages, including CBGB’s, the All-Ireland Irish Dance Championships, and had the honor of singing an original song at Jazz at Lincoln Center.  She is also in the new Amazon Prime show Puzzled. STEVEN BELLI

Steven is a graduate of Southern CT State University majoring Theatre Performance. Some favorite past credits include Guys & Dolls with New Haven Symphony (Angie the Ox), Violet (Father), 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (Man 1), and The 25th…Spelling Bee (Barfée). CARTER TREMBLEY

(Simeon)

Carter Trembley has appeared in numerous productions across the state of Connecticut.  Favorite past credits include Twelfth Night (Feste), The Hunchback of Norte Dame (Clopin), Once on this Island (Ton Ton), Peter Pan (Mr. Smee), and Crazy for You (Eugene).  In his spare time, Carter enjoys playing the guitar and hanging out with friends and family.

 

ROBERT SANTOLI

(Levi)

Robert is elated to be participating in his first production at DCT since moving to Connecticut. Acting since childhood, his first role was in independent film Dead Canaries (2002), and has also volunteered at a youth theatre camp. Besides theatre, Robert’s also a huge game show fan. He recently got the best of both worlds when he got a chance to host The Price is Right Live! at Foxwoods Resort alongside TV personality Todd Newton.

 

FRANCISCO RODRIGUEZ

(Naphtali)

Fran is proud, excited and honored for this opportunity to perform besides such talented cast and production team at the DCT Mainstage. Some Fran credits from Costa Rica are Cliff in Cabaret, Ensemble/Billy Flynn in Chicago, originated the role of MJ in La Huida, Alice in Wonderland a contemporary ballet and Dancing with the Stars CR. With a BA in Performing Arts wrote an original musical and taught drama at several schools. Thanks to everyone who made this debut possible. 

 

DHAFIR JACKSON BATTLE

Dhafir is very excited to be back at the Downtown Cabaret Theater! Eric is a recent graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, he is happy to make his second debut on the mainstage of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre. He has recently starred as Lurch in “The Addams Family” at Southern Connecticut State University and has performed with the New Haven Symphony in their rendition of “Guys and Dolls.” He is excited to be working with a wonderful cast of talented people! MICHAEL YOUNG

Michael is thrilled to be making his debut at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  He is appreciative to the director of the great show and cast for giving him such an amazing opportunity. His credits include: Ragtime (Booker T. Washington).  In the interim he enjoys international travels, trips to New York City to watch Broadway shows and playing the piano. Eric Is a junior at Waterbury Arts Magnet School. SARAH BELL

DCT debut! After many years of drama (Other Desert Cities, Proof, Good People, Dancing at Lughnasa, among others), Sarah is thrilled to have this opportunity to participate in musical theater. She is honored and grateful to work with such an incredibly talented and kind group of people. Offstage, she lives here in Bridgeport and teaches middle school in Westport, where she first encountered Joseph… as part of the tech crew for the school’s production and fell in love with the show’s silliness. Thanks to all who love, support, and encourage me.

 

 FAITH FERNANDES

Faith is excited to be living life in technicolor. Some of her credits include, In the Heights (Vanessa), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer), and American Idiot (Ensemble and dance captain). When not on the stage she is a first grade teacher in Norwalk and it is a nice change to visit Egypt Thank you to the production team for this opportunity, to the cast of dreamers let’s go go , and her family and friends for their support.

 

FINLEY VIGLIOTTI

Finley is so excited to be back at the Downtown Cabaret! Some of their past credits include the Doctor (Matilda), Daniela (In The Heights),  and Elmer (Newsies). MORIAH PERRETT

Moriah is excited to be making her downtown cabaret debut! Some of her favorite roles include Miles (Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw), Celese/Gilmer (Godspell), understudy Amy/vocal minority(Company), Marge Murry (The Laramie Project), Ensign Dinah Murphy( South Pacific), Ruth(Tribes), Miep Gies (The Diary of Anne Frank), and Ensemble(Jesus Christ Superstar). Big love and a big thank you to the cast and crew of Joseph for letting me come on this journey with you!

SARAH MAYA

Sarah is thrilled to be back at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre. Last year she was in DCT’s production of Annie. She has performed with the Octagon Performance Group, Broadway Boot Camp, Broadway Method Academy, Fairfield Performing Arts Studio and Camp Gan Israel. In addition to Annie, she has recently performed in many shows including Shrek Jr. and Frozen Jr. She thanks the DCT and her family and friends for their love and support.

 

ALIYA WOFFORD

Aliya is delighted to be performing in her first production and extremely proud to be joining the cast of Joseph and The Technicolor Dream Coat. Aliya is in first grade at Ridgefield Academy and lives with her family in Bridgeport.  She enjoys dressing up in very imaginative costumes, singing and performing small skits that she writes, for her family and friends. 

 

SAMANTHA BIONDI

Samantha is so excited to be a part of DCT again! She performed with The Downtown Cabaret in the production of Annie, and had an amazing experience! When not at DCT Samantha has performed with Fairfield Center Stage, Aesop Fables, Center Stage of Shelton Monroe Dance Academy and other productions at school. Samantha is a sixth grader at Madison Middle School. In her spare time She enjoys knitting, dancing, field hockey, lacrosse, gymnastics and of course singing! Samantha would like to Thank the production staff for this awesome opportunity!! Thank you to all her family and friends for the support!

 

CHLOE PAYNE

Chloe is very excited to be returning to the DCT! Her credits include Annie (Orphan Kate), as well as performances with Crystal Theatre in Broadway Blast, Trolls (Rona), Aesop’s Fables (Lion), Thumbelina (Twinkle), and The Granny Awards (Professor). She’s a member of her school’s costume design club and chess club, and has her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Chloe would like to thank the production staff and her family and friends for their support!

 

GRACE-VIOLETTE STERN

Grace-Violette is thrilled to return to the Downtown Cabaret after playing “Sally” in Annie last year. She is 12 years old in 7th grade at St Thomas Aquinas School. Grace is soon to play lead “Lucille” in Junie B. Jones jr, and she has also played Young Fiona in her school’s production of Shrek. If you are one of her friends or family members, you’ll know Grace is always singing and dancing around the house. Grace loves to work with all of her friends at the cabaret and loves performing with them!Break a Leg!

 

OLIVIA STERN

Olivia is very excited to take the stage at the Downtown Cabaret for the first time! Olivia is in 3rd grade, and is 8 years old at Saint Thomas Aquinas School. Olivia loves to perform and is soon to play “Suzy the Cheerleader” in Junie B. Jones jr. Olivia loves working with her friends at the Cabaret and loves to perform! Break a leg!

 

CHLOE LEVANAT

Chloe is thrilled to return to the Downtown Cabaret as part of the Children’s Choir. Having a love for the stage, Chloe has played Orphan Molly in DCT’s 2018 production of Annie, Mother Bird in her school’s production of “Are you My Mother,” and performed in the annual holiday drama show at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Fairfield. Chloe enjoys singing and dance at FTC’s Summer Cabaret, Fairfield’s School of Rock, and Flash Point Dance Company. Thank you to a wonderful cast and crew!

 

KELLY BLUTE

Kelly is a 7th grader at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Fairfield. This is Kelly’s second show at DCT; she played Duffy in their production of Annie last winter. At school, Kelly has been in productions of The Lion King, Jr, Bits of Broadway, and Shrek. Kelly is involved with FPAS and Octagon Performance Group, has attended the Summer Cabaret Workshop at FTC for seven years, and has danced at Flash Pointe Dance for five years. Kelly is excited to be back at DCT with another wonderful cast and crew!
