DCT Workshops Winter 2016 — Registration Form

About Downtown Cabaret Theatre Workshops

Downtown Cabaret Theatre, with its long and rich tradition of producing the highest quality children’s theatre, is thrilled to launch an educational series for performers grades 1-12, as well as new courses for adults. Our goal is to offer a variety of performance-based classes from on-camera technique to musical theatre dance to improvisation and beyond. We are so excited to continue our growing series workshops in January 2016, including: Broadway 101 and Theater Dance.

KIDS WORKSHOPS:
“Broadway 101”, once again taught by Jessica Rahrig and Chelsea Dacey, is a perfect intro to musical theatre for our younger performers, in which the children will be taught the basics of theatre technique and even get to learn and perform numbers from their favorite musicals, which will be taught by two professional triple threats (and DCT Children’s Company stars!).

“Theater Dance”, for grades 5-10 and taught by Chelsea Dacey and Jessica Rahrig, is a class where young performers will learn not just dance technique, but get to learn choreography from their favorite Broadway routines, and learn to pick up choreography more quickly in an audition setting.
