CHILDREN’S COMPANY STAGE MANAGER
Downtown Cabaret Theatre, a non-profit professional theatre company in Bridgeport, CT, is seeking qualified stage managers for the remainder of the 2013/14 Children’s Company season. Qualified candidates must be highly organized and have strong communication skills. Stage managers are expected to schedule and run all rehearsals including tech week, call each performance, write and distribute daily reports, keep in communication with full design and creative staff, generate and distribute all necessary paperwork, maintain a consistently running show by distributing notes, and maintain an organized prompt book. MUST BE AVAILABLE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS. All rehearsals are weekday nights from 6:00p – 10:00p Monday through Friday (or as scheduled) and all performances are Saturday and Sunday at 12:00 and 2:30. This is a paid part-time position.

Volunteer Ushers – Seasonal
The Downtown Cabaret Theatre is always looking for enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individuals to become volunteer ushers. Our volunteer ushers provide invaluable services by assisting patrons to their seats, answering questions, and most importantly, creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for our patrons. As a volunteer, you will have an opportunity to meet many new and exciting people as well as having the opportunity to see quality performances. Some of the requirements for becoming a volunteer usher are:
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• The willingness to work as a team and a dedication to patron service.
• The ability to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be 18 years old and not in high school.
• Must wear and provide your own white shirt, black slacks and solid black flat shoes, no open front or back.
